This Journey will reconnect you , plug you back into the river of your soul , from this place you can sew and plant the dream seeds of the next cycle of your life.
This is a deep and powerful day of ceremony combining the heart opening plant medicine cacao embodied movement medicine ceremony & shamanic journey with an incredible voyage of world music and sound bathing to accompany us, together we weave the threads of healing and connection.
As the wheel of the year turns let us journey inwards to find ground and strength within these immense times we find ourselves in . Now more than ever we need to call on the medicine of practice to help us navigate the unknown and find nourishment, resource, courage , joy and re connection to the unbroken that lives within us.
We journey deep into our inner worlds finding roots , calling to our elemental nature we return to self. From this place of ground and connection we call to the realms of our Ancestors and Decedents to feel into and listen to the wisdom they may have to share at theses times. Also to pay our love and respect to our loved ones who have crossed over a ritual which is done all over the world in many cultures , by reconnecting to our Ancestors and our Ceremonies we come home to a deeper sense of roots and connection to our own line , our roots, ourselves , our calling and path , this is a space where we can draw from the vast well of this ancient wisdom.
We will journey to the ancestors as we the torchbearers walk forth carrying the light from our line... what are we here to give? ...what is our unique calling?
We drum, we call to the spirit of the dance , The roots and the branches of the tree of life, the eternal forrest within. Remembering the spirit of Gratitude and calling to that place of wild Joy within.
ABOUT BONNIE -
I am a Medicine Woman, a fully graduated Movement Medicine teacher who has been working with this body of work since 2009 and have trained to an advanced level. I am a Ceremonial leader deeply committed to the sacred landscapes of the wild unbroken spirit of life, and to the transformational healing power of dance to reclaim our power that may have been lost within the wounds of the past and turn that into medicine to reconnect to our wild self and true heart. I am also a Red School menstruality mentor , shamanic healer and bodyworker, mother & wife , lover of life and the sacred.
CACAO:
Cacao is 'The Food for the Shift'. An Indigenous myth tells us whenever the balance between humans and nature becomes threatened, cacao comes from the rainforest to open people's hearts and return us all to harmony.
Ceremonial grade cacao is a sacred medicine also known as the “blood of the heart” is an important, powerful, and previously overlooked teacher, facilitator, and medicine-plant. Ceremonial Cacao partners with you on your journey... experience chocolate as the magical partner it is!

WHAT IS CACAO?
Literally translated as ‘Food of the Gods’,
Since the ancient Civilisations of the Mayans and Aztecs, Cacao has been used in rituals and ceremonies as a tool for journeying deep inside of the self, allowing spirit to move through and guide us.
Cacao is one of the most nutritionally dense superfoods and provides many medicinal benefits.
It contains more antioxidants than any other food on the planet.
It stimulates the production of the neurotransmitters dopamine, serotonin and anandamide (also known as the BLISS chemical) leading to feelings of euphoria.
It relaxes the muscles and balances the nervous system whilst focusing the mind and activating the heart.
The cacao we will use is of the highest quality grown & harvested in Peru specifically for ceremonial use by Ashaninka families. Directly sourced from ancient Cacao gardens in the Rio Ene region.
