Beloved Women, we invite you to take your place & join us on Jaguar Dreaming a sacred journey into the mystery, power, & wisdom that lives within. Guided by the spirit of the Jaguar, guardian of the unseen, keeper of ancient knowing, we gather in the wild landscapes of South Portugal to remember what has always been ours.

The Jaguar moves with grace through darkness, trusting her instincts & embracing transformation. As we gather together within ceremony, we are called to shed old skins, awaken our inner vision, & dream a new story into being. Come as you are & step into the mystery with us, where your heart can open up to where the wild feminine resides.

We will be within the beautiful land of Jardim de Tonantzin, a healing sanctuary in South Portugal , held within the rustic beauty of this sacred place, we come together as a community of women , a village, this is not a ‘ retreat centre or experience ’ It is a home & a place of sacred Initiation.

Ana & Bonnie met in the wild jungles of Guatemala over 20 years ago, barefoot under the moonlight, gathered around fires, ceremonies, living in the wild at gatherings for months at time, their hearts met, that was at the beginning of their journey home, now they weave a gift together & share some of that medicine with YOU

Ana holds a luminous & safe space of healing, guiding the session through her own songs, which are specific transmissions received through the medicine, to guide this sacred space of healing.

An invitation to open our hearts to the purest light of the divine, for tuning ourselves into the highest expression of our beings, for bringing our pains and sorrows to this altar of the Mother, as She receives us unconditionally & supports us with the purest love so we can meet ourselves in the unique expression that we are, a precious thread in the sacred tapestry creation. In this altar we meet the grace that lives in all of us and we are welcome to upgrade so we can live life in presence, with strength in our hearts to be the shining lights that we came here to be in this turbulent times.

CACAO

Cacao is a Sacred & beautiful plant medicine that helps us to open our heart & come back into connection with our inner wisdom, it helps us to balance the feminine & masculine energies within us & has been used in ceremony since ancient times. An Indigenous myth tells us, "whenever the balance between humans and nature becomes threatened, the spirit of cacao will come from the rainforest to open people's hearts & return us all to harmony with the Earth & creation once again". Known as Theobroma cacao the “Food of the Gods” this sacred plant has been honoured for generations by the indigenous people of South & Central America. Cacao as a way to connect with the flowering Earth a way to drink in the sweet & sacred nectar of the hummingbird, of black mumma jaguar , receive the medicine of the fertile jungle lands within our own heart , body & spirit.

Welcome to the womb of the Mother Earth…
A sacred ceremony, healing with the Elements,
nourishing the Earth with our songs and prayers.
An offering of gratitude for life,
honouring all that has been,
and weaving together the beautiful vision
of what is to come.

In the sweatlodge we receive healing directly from the elements. They are the ones running the ceremony. The earth we sit on, healing us in the physical level, making us humble, connecting us with the wisdom of the Earth. The water that gets poured on the stones, healing our emotional waters, making them move, releasing anything that may be stagnant, in our emotions, in our bloodline. The air, heating up, calls us into our breath, giving us clarity, bringing healing to our mind. The fire, the heat released by the stones, is the power of transformation, a force from the spirit world, burning away what is not needed, in this ritual of death and renewal.

Thousands of years old, this is a sacred ceremony for healing, for prayer & connecting, for renewal, for re wiring ourselves to the wisdom of the Earth & the Stars. Built with ancient sacred geometry, this is a timeless space, a temple. Journeying through 4 levels, we remember & reconnect with the medicine wheel, that teaches us of the cyclical nature of life. We welcome the spirit guides of the land, the spirit teachers of these ways, our ancestors, our spirit guides, & offer our presence in reverence for the good of all beings

This work can help us heal & remember who we really are & the majesty of this life.

Dance & Embodiment are one of the most powerful transformative medicines, we shed old skins through movement & ritual, accessing the deepest parts of our beings, breaking open energetic blockages & healing emotional wounds. The rivers of life can flow through us once again.

Working alongside plant spirit medicines this work helps to deeply integrate on a profound somatic level all that may be unveiled durning the ceremonies to guide it to land deep within the body , heart & spirit.

We gather in circle & sing medicine songs of devotion, connecting our wombs & our voices with the heart of the earth & the sky, in an offer of beauty that nurtures our hearts, & an offering in prayer for all beings & all of creation, together we will learn new songs to sing to life & within community.

YOUR GUIDES

BONNIE MCATEER - FOUNDER OF MEDICINE WOMAN MOVEMENT

Bonnie is a Medicine Woman & wild spirit who has traveled across continents & vast inner worlds for over 2 decades to bring this medicine home. She weaves in deep teachings from Intense Initiations she received in the Amazon rainforest bridging a pathway from the dreaming world to this world.

Her roots are deeply nourished by a 13yr shamanic apprenticeship with the founders of Movement Medicine in which Bonnie Graduated & trained to the most advanced level, after 10yr of teaching locally & internationally she was called by spirit in the form of a double lightning strike just after the birth of her second child to initiate her own body of work.

She weaves within this work the prayer & prophecy of our time Bonnie is Initiated into an ancient lineage of Inca Paqo of the Qero people in the high Andes of Peru journeying in an ongoing apprenticeship as a Nusta Paqo Also trained as a menstruality mentor with the Red School she shares her deep passion for reclaiming the wisdom of our womb & cyclical nature. With decades of work within ceremony & ritual around the world she holds a powerful space for deep transformation & homecoming.

ANA POMAR

Ana Pomar is a renowned medicine singer, a weaver of songs, and devotional artist from Portugal, a mother with 20 years experience in ceremonial ways of different traditions, studying with elders from Brazil, Mexico, and North America. Ana offers a safe space of healing and devotion, journeying through the Medicine wheel, sharing her own songs as well as traditional native songs of prayer. She has been hosting women’s sweatlodges every new moon for 5 years in her home in Portugal along with many other prayer gatherings she hosts.
